Lancaster air cadets to host open evening

February 18, 2020
Budding air cadets are invited to an open evening in Lancaster next month.
The 345 City of Lancaster Squadron will open its doors to potential new recruits on Friday, March 13 from 7pm to 9pm.
There will be a range of demonstrations from cadets, interactive talks and a chance to ask questions to cadets and staff.
The aim is to boost numbers and get local young people interested in an adventurous and aviation oriented organisation, where they will be able to develop their skills and earn nationally recognised qualifications, such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award and BTECs.
The squadron is based at Dallas Road in Lancaster and is part of the Royal Air Force Cadets.
