Beyond Radio at Highest Point festival: All you need to know

Beyond Radio is once again looking forward to bringing you the best coverage of Highest Point Festival!

Your real local radio station will be on-air for a special live broadcast of Beyond Afternoons from the annual music and arts festival at Williamson Park in Lancaster this Friday, May 10, from 2pm to 6pm.

Chris Brookbanks, Greg Lambert and the Beyond Radio team will bring you all the build-up and big interviews from day one of this year's Highest Point.

Then on Sunday afternoon we will bring you ANOTHER live broadcast from the festival, as Sunday Afternoon at Momma V's comes live from the Big Family Day Out at the park.

Vanessa Ramsden will be joined by guests and the Beyond Radio team from 3pm to 6pm.

Beyond Radio will also be hosting the main stage for the Big Family Day Out on Sunday (gates open 9.30am, starts 10am) for the fourth year running, with Greg Lambert and Silent Mark introducing the performers. Also expect an appearance by Beyond Bear who loves Highest Point!

Highest Point gets under way this Friday, May 10, with performances by Tom Odell, Sam Ryder, Cat Burns, local bands LOWES and Indifferent Monkey, and much more. Gates open at 3.30pm.

Saturday May 11's line-up is headlined by Busted, with performances by rising pop star Caity Baser, TV fashionista and DJ Gok Wan will be playing a set of 90s house favourites and club classics, and there will even be a DJ set by CBeebies' Hacker T Dog! Gates open at noon.

Then the festival concludes on Sunday May 12 with the Big Family Day Out, hosted by Beyond Radio and a Lancaster Rocks night featuring tributes to Queen, Foo Fighters and Oasis.
