Fight night to help Morecambe mum's battle for life

October 15, 2019

A fight night will raise money to help a brave Morecambe mum in her battle for life.

Emma Ellis was diagnosed with inoperable pancreatic cancer over a year ago but continues to defy medical odds by courageously living life to the full.

Friends and family of the mum-of-three are trying to raise £120,000 so she can have treatment overseas and Red Rose Community Centre in Morecambe has stepped in to help.

The centre will host a fundraising show of boxing on the evening of Saturday November 16 with all proceeds going to 'Emma's Fight for Life'.

People who have never boxed before - including Emma's husband Andy - are training to take part in the show to help raise funds.

Emma and Andy will be on Beyond Radio tonight at 7pm to share their story and talk about the event.
