Football: Morecambe 1 Mansfield Town 1

February 10, 2020

Morecambe secured another vital point in their battle for survival in League Two.

Substitute Alex Kenyon scored a late equaliser after Mansfield had taken the lead through Riley's second-half strike.

Kenyon's goal was relief for the Shrimps' supporters after a game which came alive in the second 45 minutes.

Stevenage's defeat means that Morecambe are now five points ahead of their closest relegation rivals, with only one team set to go down to non-league football this season.

The Shrimps' next league game is at home to Macclesfield Town this Tuesday night (February 11), kick-off 7.45pm.
