Lancashire pop group chat to Beyond Radio

April 27, 2020

Lancashire edgy pop band 'Myth of Unity' spoke to Beyond Radio about the exciting release of their newest song.

Based in the seaside town of Blackpool, Myth Of Unity have been captivating audiences all over the world. Singer ‘Missy” is the group’s lead Singer and Songwriter, with upbeat production provided by record producer ‘Calibeats’, who is also the groups DJ. Rapper ‘Trix’ shares the front of the stage with Missy, rhyming clever lyrics and singing smooth melodic vocal hooks.

Lead singer Missy spoke to Beyond Radio's Nathan Hill about forthcoming release of 'You know where to go';
“This song is about taking back control of yourself” said Missy, “and not letting someone else dictate who you are and what you do. I was emotionally weak in a certain past relationship” she admitted, “but became strong by realising my worth.

A line that best describes this is: ‘I’ve been living in your bubble, my head feels oh so troubled, but from now I'll be calling the shots!’.

The general consensus is- If you don't like it, you know where to go!” The music compliments Missy’s vocals and has a cool downtempo feel with a bouncy, catchy chorus, which carries the hook well and leads into rapper Trix’s verse, which includes awesome punchlines and a relatable theme.
