A teenage singer has raised more than £1500 for Morecambe Bay Foodbank by busking at venues in Lancaster during the run-up to Christmas.

Olivia Mae Mulqueeney received support from local boxing superstar Tyson Fury and his brother Love Island's Tommy Fury who recorded videos wishing her well during her busk-a-thon.

Olivia's final total raised during her five weeks of busking was £1515.94.

During the busk Olivia also had a JustGiving page set up which will go direct to the Morecambe Bay Food Bank.

She thanked everyone who supported her including Beyond Radio who followed her journey.

Olivia came in to Beyond Radio on Monday night to speak to Luke Edmondson (see picture) about her fundraising.

Nathan Hill, commercial director of Beyond Radio, said: “Beyond Radio is thrilled to support Olivia and her fundraising efforts.

"It combines two things we’re passionate about as a local community radio station; supporting local music and supporting the local community. We encourage anyone who’s looking to promote their music or charity to contact us via the station’s website www.beyondradio.co.uk”.
